DebateReveal ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using DebateReveal, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Local Storage Data: We use your browser's localStorage to store your debate history locally. This includes your questions, responses, and selected religions. This data never leaves your browser unless you choose to export it manually.
Session Storage Data: We use sessionStorage to track your debate count during a single browsing session. This data is cleared when you close your browser tab.
API Request Data: When you submit a question, the question text and selected religion are sent to our API endpoint to generate a response. This data is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored on our servers.
Third-Party Services
Supabase: We use Supabase with pgvector for semantic verse search. Your questions may be processed through Supabase's infrastructure to find relevant scripture verses. Supabase's privacy policy applies to data processed through their service.
Google AI: We use Google's text-embedding-004 model to generate vector embeddings for semantic search. Google's privacy policy governs data processed through their API.
MiMo AI: Debate responses are generated using MiMo AI models. Your questions and selected religion context are sent to MiMo AI for response generation. MiMo AI's privacy policy applies to this data.
Cookies and Tracking
DebateReveal does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any form of behavioral tracking. We do not serve ads, and we do not share your data with advertising networks. Google Analytics is configured with privacy-preserving settings and does not collect personal information.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your debate history is stored locally in your browser. You can delete it at any time by clicking "Clear All" in the History Dashboard. No backup of this data exists on our servers. API request logs are ephemeral and not retained beyond the request-response cycle.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, modify, or delete any data stored locally in your browser at any time. For inquiries about data processed through third-party services, please contact us and we will facilitate your request.
